Beauty. What is that first thought that comes to your mind when you listen to the word “beauty”? An attractive girl? A lot of makeup? Beauty can be interpreted in many ways and it ultimately leads to the physical aspects. You might have heard that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Yes, that’s true.
Beauty has varied over time, based on cultures and different perceptions of the world. What I have noted so far is that beauty is simple and is all about happiness. Certain images and moments blow our minds with happiness that inspires us and shows the distinct characteristics and attractiveness of our souls.
Many factors are involved in personal attractiveness. These include such as the way you dress, the way you act, the way you speak, your overall looks, the way you carry yourself, wealth, race, gender, body shape and size, even the things that are impossible to change. But, the very first thing when we meet someone in the face and facial structure. Some faces are very unique and launch a thousand ships. We are extremely attuned to tell the difference between love at first sight and love with mothers’ faces. Our mind acts as a beauty detector besides many other functions that the brain performs.
A thing of beauty is a joy forever is an often quoted proverb. In every field of life, attractive people or children get more favor than unattractive ones. The teacher favors attractive children while parents or mother loves an attractive child more than others. Attractive people are preferred for jobs and are being paid more than the rest of the staff.
Beauty Lies In the Eyes of Beholder
From the studies, it has been found that beauty has no set standards. Everyone in this world is created beautifully. There are no set standards of white color, black color, skin type, body structure, eyes shape, slim or fat, short height, long height, hair length and so on. You can find a good in any person and fall in love that do not meet any beauty standards. The question is, is attractiveness is considered beauty or a good face reflects only good qualities?
The answer is really simple and straight forward, no two faces are alike and no two persons have the same characteristics. Our face is a structure that is formed from some hormonal ratio balance and one cannot depict the kind of person from the face.
Truth about Beauty
Beauty is unfair. Not everyone in this world is born having great genes. Not everyone is symmetrical. It is found that people with good characteristics also have some bad characteristics in them. No one in this world is perfect! Flaws are everywhere but it is the attractiveness that is under our control. So, instead of living within constrained cultural boundaries, admire the beauty of the heart that a person holds. Because a beautiful heart is more pretty than a beautiful face.
